Today, Foursquare, the social media service founded by Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai, took over my old stomping grounds-Omaha, NE. They are pretty much taking over the world, with a newsworthy angel roster helping them out, in case you haven't been paying attention.  After the 5th email and tweet asking me to explain just what in the world Foursquare was exactly, I figured it was the appropriate time to do a post. Bloggers love to get together in dive bars, wearing their computer nerd best (so you know, plaid, t-shirts, hoodies...) and drinking local brews that express they are intellectuals, thoughtful about their beer choices. Rosé-filled flamingo bong anyone? The Koch brothers have you covered, and then some as they added rosé-filled water guns and yes, flamingo bongs into the mix of debauchery that took over their July 4th brunch extravaganza. This comes to no surprise as they're "see the world through rosé colored glasses" motto carried itself above and beyond Saturday afternoon for their Independence Day & Night 4th of July Bash. Day & Night staffers were armed and ready with their booze-filled plastic weaponry leaving every patriotic party goer in attendance drenched, thirst quenched, and ready for partying mayhem, all before sundown.

YOU voted and it looks like your favorite pair of twins, the Koch Brothers, took 1st place in the "What's Your Favorite Hamptons Restaurant?" poll this week. After experiencing the Day & Night brunch party ourselves, we can easily see why they placed first, and not to mention the brothers' good looks. Day & Night Restaurant won the poll with a 23% of the vote, while Georgica came in 2nd with 16%. Derek and Daniel Koch sure know how to throw a party!  The twins du jour (or should it be nuit?) started their domination of Southampton last Sunday with the Hamptons Magazine party at their Day & Night Beach Club.   Cover girl Anna Paquin, Real Housewives Jill Zarin and Ramona Singer, and other revelers lounged and mingled with each other over refreshing cucumber-infused Belvedere vodka drinks and platters piled high with delicious seafood and even some chicken wings. Another Memorial Day Weekend means another weekend out East, and the promise of new night life territory to explore and conquer.  But, what if late nights aren't your style (like me)?  Enter Day & Night Beach Club, Southampton.  Everyone had their eyes and ears tuned in to the party on Saturday that launched the Koch Brothers new reign in the Hamptons.
