Last night, some of our favorite people got together at one of our favorite UES restaurants, Primavera. The first in what will be a series of dinner parties, Ceva Nights, was a smashing success. Today our favorite twins, Derek and Daniel Koch that are taking over NYC Nightlife are celebrating their 27th Birthday with a 12 hour party! We are already 3 hours deep in the action.  We will be live blogging the event at #whyamidrunkinthemiddleofthedayagain, if we can manage to get coherent words tweeted.  There will be 9, count em 9 DJs! Including: Serebe Kironde, Nick Cohen, Marco Peruzzi, Olivier Berger, Jean Michel, Disiple, Josh Link, Francesco Civetta, and Chris Liggio. There’s even a website for the event.  The party plans on moving from 55 Gansevoort to Bijoux at some point tonight, if anyone is still standing…

Last Thursday, The History Channel, Bill Fresko, Russell Terlecki, and Francesco Civetta hosted the premiere and after party for a new show, Warriors with Terry Schappert, at Lounge on the Bowery.  Guests got to meet Terry (who is an old school night life bad ass and ex green beret), saw a screening of the first episode, and rocked the after party with DJ Francesco Civetta.  Look out for Steve’s interview with Terry, coming soon.

Okay to catch you up: There are two gentleman claiming to be the real Izzy Gold. Once friends, there was a rift and, well people are picking sides left and right (catch up on all the drama below).  Now that summer is almost over and things are picking up in this town, both Izzy’s are making their rounds.  On Tuesday, the “old” Izzy Gold, Francesco Civetta, was spotted at Ben Watt’s “Big Up!” Party.  Last night, it seems that the “new” Izzy Gold, Chris Young, was at the Fashion Rocks Preview party at Mansion (and looks pumped to be there I might add).  One wound up on PMc, the other on WireImage, both reputable sources of truth.  But the truth is just getting more mangled.  Are we going to accept that there are two Izzy Golds out there????

Francesco Civetta aka the “old” Izzy Gold has made his way back into our hearts after a long holiday in Italy.  The funniest thing about this is that PMc labels the photo above (taken at Ben Watts Big Up! party last night) as “Izzy Gold” not “Francesco Civetta” yet they label Chris Young as Izzy Gold when he goes out as well. Are we just going to accept that there are now two Izzy’s?? The old one (Fran) and the new mohawked one that throws out cash in Times Square (Chris)?  Who do you guys want to be Izzy ???  Maybe Patrick McMullan can make the decision for all of us and just pick one???
