It was a great night for premium party hopping in L.A. on Saturday. Following DIESEL + EDUN's stellar Studio Africa BBQ with a private Solange concert, guests migrated east to Milk Studios where Purple Fashion Magazine hosted a celebration for its Spring/Summer 2013 issue release. With Becka Diamond manning the ones and twos, the champagne-filled night drew an eclectic mix of artists, models, designers, celebrities and local tastemakers. Among the notables who joined Purple founder Olivier Zahm to celebrate were Chloe Sevigny, Jeffrey Deitch, Alexander Skarsgard, Paz De La Huerta, Andrej Pejic, Frankie Rayder, Estella Warren, Randall Slavin and many others. Check out the slideshow for a look at guests letting their hair down inside the exclusive event. More>>

On the eve of the Oscars, PC Valmorbida and Jared Najjar's PRISM gallery hosted an exclusive opening preview for Mario Testino, the eponymous exhibition by the world famous fashion photographer now on display. The Sunset Strip gallery was swarming with models, artists, designers, actors and an overall exceptionally good-looking crowd for the event, later followed by a wild after party co-hosted by Gisele Bundchen at the Fleur de Lys mansion in Beverly Hills. Mario Testino should seriously come to town more often because even by L.A. standards, the night was quite a spectacle with supermodels everywhere (kiss, kiss Karolina and Naomi!) and lots of getting down on the dance floor. Take a look and see for yourself. [All photos by David X Prutting / BFA]

The French fashion house, Chanel, has taken their popular little black jacket, originally launched in 1954, and created an exhibit featuring 113 black & white photographs of celebrities adapting the unisex jacket into their own style. The one-week exhibit kicked off last night in SoHo at 18 Wooster Street with an exclusive party.
Lagerfeld collaborated with French Vogue editor, Carine Roitfeld, to create the $98 coffee table book which will be compiled of the photos from the exhibit, and titled The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's Classic Revisited. The book will be available for purchase on August 15.
