Last Friday night at Cipriani 42nd Street, the Jewelry Information Center of New York held its annual GEM Awards. It was all about glamour, style, and bling bling at the Jewelry Information Center's 7th annual GEM awards Friday night at Cipriani's in New York City. The awards ceremony celebrating the achievements and contributions of the best of the best in the jewelry industry, honored Harper Bazaar's editor-in-chief, Glenda Baily for excellence in journalism, Chopard for its' excellence in corporate communications and Russell Simmons for...being Russell Simmons. Dancing With the Star's Samantha Harris hosted the glitzy evening of cocktails, dinner, and dessert while guests included LL Cool J, David Yurman, Heidi Albertson, and Frederic de Narp.
