Alexandra Richards is one cool cat. In between DJ'ing parties like the Day & Night 4th of July party like she is here, the model and covergirl filmed a Gossip Girl cameo. In last night's season 3 premiere, the beauty was the object of Chuck's wandering eye and Blair's jealous one. Nacho Figueras was her partner in appearances, as the Upper East Side clan stopped into Greenwich Polo. Adding to a list including Jay McInerney and Tinsley Mortimer, we can't wait to see what the new episodes are bringing us by way of suprises.
I (gasp!) missed the Gossip Girl premiere last night. That is what long summer weekends in the sun can do to you...make you forget about what is really important in life: television shows that have the power to change our lives. What pisses me off more than missing the show is missing out on the discussion of the show. I refuse to read or talk about the show with anyone until I have the chance to watch it this week (though I'm not sure when that will be). So, since I can't give you my recap, go here to read the more than concise report from Chris Rovzar and Jessica Pressler over at Daily Intel. I had to stop a little ways in, I don't want to ruin my viewing, however, I liked this:
Plus 1 for Gossip Girl's description of the Hamptons: "Think Park Avenue but with tennis whites and Bain de Soleil." This could have been a higher scoring line had she said, "Think meatpacking district but with Lilly Pulitzer and drunk driving."
My two cents: Blair Waldorf is pictured above in designer Abigail Lorick's dress and I couldn't be happier about that.

I am (just a little) sorry I missed the Gossip Girl premiere bash this Saturday night at the EMM Group Estate in Sag Harbor. I think it ironic that it took place in Sag Harbor, the least-Gossip-Girly spot out here (though the EMM Estate is more than fitting). Also, Ed Westwick is looking a little rough for wear in these photos....maybe he just got back from a tough day of sailing? I can not WAIT for Season Two to jump start.
No idea there was a Hampton's Coffee in Westhampton. I miss the one in Bridge, the site of the most money I've ever spent on two eggs, (sunny side up), and some wheat toast. The interview with golf pro Heniz Haaz (still a work in progress), the numerous bags of coffee bought that came in handy for our morning blog routines, the bran muffins with apple bits in the middle, the free magazines...oh and then the time we saw ourselves on the flyer for the Watermill Kettle Bell interview we did with Lorna from Core Dynamics. ClAiRe, i mIsS yOu! Oh and, lest I forget, sitting on 27 in traffic watching the people mingling outside that one time. And then that other. And other. And other. Ah...those were the days.
Wait a minute! Summer's not over yet folks!
