The stars were out to see reigning NBA MVP LeBron James lead his Cavaliers to victory over our Knicks 100-91 last Friday. Penny Marshall found her courtside seat early and chatted with Bernie Williams, who would later sing the national anthem. World Series Champ Alex Rodriguez sat next to rapper Jay-Z, and they seemed to enjoy taunting LeBron while he tried to warm up.
This past weekend, I along with everyone else, was at Super Saturday, the annual benefit raising money for Ovarian Cancer. The benefit works like this: designers donate clothes, east enders buy tickets to buy the donated clothes (at greatly reduced prices), and charity wins. Perhaps you saw the taxis directly transporting people from train and jitney stops. Or perhaps you didn’t. If you did not happen to make it to the tents, here is how it went down:
