The always lovelyGregory Littley and Kelly Willhave collaborated for the billionth time to bring us “The Pop Cult Show,” short video episodes in which the two pop culture figures give the full stories behind the headlines. On this weeks episode, they sat down with our favorite designer, Keith Lissner, to get the scoop on exactly what it’s like to be on reality TV (Keith’s show on Bravo “The Fashion Show” airs again tonight). Today is the official last day of work for many of our friends over at Page Six Magazine. And, with that, I would like to toast their departures with a quote my sister sent me once when I was feeling pretty low:
“Writing is the only profession where no one considers you ridiculous if you earn no money.” - Jules Renard
Though we will miss your witty contributions at Page Six mag, we are looking forward to the great things you will no doubt be doing, especially you Kelly and Gregory!
Creative Genius is the most appropriate way to describe Gregory Littley. This Renaissance man has a hand in every latest trend that infiltrates our city, whether you know it or not. He is my hippest, baddest friend I’ve collected, and….he’s actually genuine to boot. My favorite late night g-chat addiction, Gregory Littley is a habit worth keeping, (as everyone that knows him agrees):
While Gossip Girl co-stars Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Blake Lively were celebrating the opening of Bridgehampton Polo and Chace Crawford’s birthday in the Hamptons this past Saturday, Ed Westwick stayed behind to relax, sun and take in his first summer in NYC. I had been out east for most of the weekend, but had to skip Chace Crawford’s birthday to return to the city. From what I’ve heard, I missed a good party, but like I always say, there’ll always be another one.
Instead, I had something much more exciting on my calendar for Sunday morning, a photo shoot for a feature in Page Six Magazine’s Fall Fashion issue. Wait, it gets better. The shoot was an exclusive with Ed Westwick!
So a couple weekends ago, I took part in a fun little photo shoot in Brooklyn (I’m wearing Keith Lissner of course). It was part of a larger concept called “This World Is Yours”, which is what the article will be about in the new ZInk Magazine (release party tonight).
This event is first and foremost a media experiment, the point of which is to seed 5 messages in the media, in this case, through 5 original works of fashion photography. Our friends over at Fame Game chose these five messages (Think, Play, Dream, Teach, and Let Go) because they think they are good messages to put out in a world overcrowded with consumption propaganda.
Christopher Tennant’s new book “The Official Filthy Rich Handbook” is out and one of our good friends, Gregory Littley scored a page in it! He is the official WASTREL walking around town wondering what day it is. I think he did a fine job pulling off the Brandon Davis, Starvos Niarchos look. The book party was held last night at Terry Allen Kramer and Nick Simunek’s penthouse apartment on East 69th Street
