Last night, Heather Graham helped unveil a textile made from Spider silk last night, which sounds like it would be gross and sticky, although we're sure Tinsley Mortimer wouldn't have wrapped herself in it quite as willingly if it was. The party was held at The Natural History Museum, where the silk, made from one million wild spiders, will be on display. LuAnn de Lesseps, Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen, Nicole Miller, Maggie Rizer, and Philip Bloch all attended. Hopefully these fashion gurus won't get any ideas for Fall 2010 lines made from spiders.... More»

Actress Rosario Dawson, Artist Shepard Fairey, Moby, MoveOn.org, SEIU, OBEY Giant, Michael Stpie, and Heather Graham hosted the "Manifest Hope" Inauguration party last night in D.C.  De La Soul and Santogold performed live while Moby played D.J.  In addition, Manifest Hope DC hosted an art gallery featuring an array of viusal artists to mark the inauguration.

And the winlner for this weekend's best night spot in the Hamptons goes to Pink Elephant. Even without the redesign new fish hanging from the celing (the work of designer Steve Lewis), without the celebrity girlfriends hanging off of the owner's arms (Heather Graham has been dating Charles Ferri the co-owner of Star Room since last summer), and without the famous gatekeepers like Rich Thomas at the door, Pink manages to win our vote for best spot and here's why:
