After last year’s controversial, and what looked like very restricting, depiction of the Hindu goddess Kati (below), one might predict Heidi Klum would tone down her choice of Halloween costume. Nope. The supermodel and her hubby Seal dressed as crows for their annual All Hallow’s Eve extravaganza. At West Hollywood’s Voyeur, the event highlight for us was the contrast of creativity with a total lack thereof. For example, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt dressed as the tooth fairy and a tooth, while Rachel Zoe and Steve Bing were a billionaire and a stylist. What a coincidence.

Yesterday at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Viacom, Inc. hosted the “Get Schooled” documentary premiere, part of an initiative and conference focused on reforming our nation’s schools and improving education. Supporters of the cause included Seal, Heidi Klum, Justin Bartha, Lo Bosworth, Sumner Redstone and Maria Menounos; on hand to spread the project message.

Elsewhere, celebrities are on the move, whether via plane (Heidi Klum and Seal), boat (Leo DiCaprio, Matt Damon), or, uhm, by horse (we’ll let the pictures of Rusell Crowe speak for themselves.) Kelly Osbourne kept things interesting for herself by shooting a water gun at paparazzi, while LeAnn Rimes and Rachel Bilson ran errands in LA wearing nearly identical outfits.Everyone seems to be having a good week, except for Jessica Simpson, who looked positively morose last night on her way to stylist Ken Paves‘ birthday party. Way back in 2004, Morgan Spurlock disgusted the world with the documentary Supersize Me in which he ate nothing but McDonald’s for one month. Five years later, Victoria’s Secret supermodel and mom-to-be Heidi Klum is bringing sexy back to the fast food restaurant — sort of. Klum, along with newly-crowned Germany’s Next Top Model, Sara Nuru had the extreme honor of presenting McDonald’s newest addition to its menu — the Snack Deluxe — in Munich, Germany. While we’d love to believe the pregnant Klum satisfies her midnight cravings with Big Macs and Quarter Pounders, we know better. More»

Somewhat less predictably, so was Nick Lachey and Spencer Pratt. This year’s Hot 100 List proved once and for all that the men who read Maxim have terrible taste in women. All the women on the list, are, of course, attractive, but why is Heidi Klum ranked 62? Are there really 61 women hotter than Heidi Klum? More»
