Decked out in outfits definitely not appropriate for a high school prom (I’m sure the chaperone would have been having a fit over the length and the tightness of some of those numbers), the cast of the CW’s 90210 celebrated their season’s wrap party at the at the Coco de Ville in Hollywood this past Saturday. The stars were ready to rock at the post-Grammy bashes in LA last night… but the question is, who had the hotter after party? In one corner, there was Russell Simmon’s celebration hosted by Stella Artois and Global Grind, which brought out the likes of T.I., Kim Kardashian, Cyndi Lauper, and Bai Ling. In the other corner was L.A. Reid’s Annual Post-Grammy Soiree hosted by Island Def Jam and House of Hype, with guests including Kanye West, Ryan Philippe, Ashanti, Benji Madden, Christina Milian, and Lionel Ritchie. So who gets the award for best post-party? Check out the photos from both events below and decide…

Fanboys, a comedy-drama about four Star Wars fans who venture to Skywalker Ranch to catch the Phantom Menace before its’ release, was screened in Beverly Hills at the Clarity Screening Room on Tuesday night. The film which has spent the majority of its’ time thus far in the editing room being cut and re-shot is finally being released in its’ original form. Now lightsaber fanatics across the country can all weep tears of joy while they wait in line to see a Star Wars movie about…waiting in line to see a Star Wars movie.

When Will.i.am isn’t busy recording new music, commentating for CNN, or working on his social/political networking site, he’s putting together innovative projects to kick start this week’s Grammys. The socially conscious hip-hopper presented a merge of visual and musical artists for Worlds on Fire Monday night at the Pacific Electric Lofts in Los Angeles. The exhibition, put together by Will.i.am., is a collection of portraits of 2009 Grammy nominated musicians by various artists including Shepard Fairey, Lori Earley, Jeremy Lipking, Henry Lewis, and Natalia Fabia

A few familiar faces stepped out in Beverly Hills to celebrate President Obama on his big night at Guy’s Nightclub on Tuesday for an Inauguration party thrown by Svedka Vodka. Guests including Aisha Tylor, Brooke Burns, Chris Evans, Lindsay Price, Dave Annable, Eric Balfour, Daisy Fuenes, and Sanaa Lathan mingled with Obama fans and a few scantily clad Fembots. We wonder if any of the night’s party goers sipped Svedka’s new $700 Billion Martini, their presidential cocktail for our economy on the rocks…Seriously.

Mickey Rourke shocked the entertainment biz with his comeback performance in The Wrestler, followed by his win for Best Actor knocking out Hollywood heavyweights Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Sean Penn at Sunday night’s Golden Globes. He celebrated his win Monday night in L.A. at Gordon Ramsay at the London for the Golden Globes party held by Niche Media’s (and Rourke pal) Jason Binn and Los Angeles Confidential Magazine.

Last week I attended a free show hosted by VICE Magazine and Colt 45 at King King in Hollywood. This launched VICE’s Tales of Colt 45 and Cheeseburger tour who performed along with Mezzanine Owls, The Muslims, and Spider Problem. Not only was there free beer, great bands, and some sick mixes from DJ C-Town, but also a photos taken by Shadowscene infront of a set made to looklike someone (or something) had just ripped through a wall. The tour then made its way to Atlanta, Chigago, Philadelphia, and NYC.
