There was an adoption van outside, and tea sandwiches, pet treats and logo petit-fours inside. Fashion Show alum Daniela stopped in, along with those happy to both browse the fall 2009 pieces and and support a good cause.

Whether you go uptown to see the Thanksgiving Day Parade, do your gift shopping or take in the crisp air near Central Park, it’s all very Fall. Last night’s fundraiser with Kelly Bensimon, Jessica Simpson and Isaac Mizrahi continued the season’s social circuit; one of several trips for which we don’t mind crossing 14th Street, now that we’re rooted in the city. Overlooking the dramatic roundabout with the sparkling nighttime lights always provides one of those, “I Love NYC” moments.

Stars headed east this weekend for the 12th annual Super Saturday in the Hamptons, but this wasn’t just any shopping spree — it was the designer garage sale to end all sales, and for a good cause too. Proceeds from the event went to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. However, the night before the shopping frenzy commenced, QVC hosted a Style Dinner and this was one dinner your Q-card couldn’t get you into to.
