As the fashion capital of the world, New York City never disappoints when it comes to stunning looks on the red carpet. As we head into 2013, we thought we'd take a look back at some of our favorite NYC red carpet moments of 2012.

Winter has a very different meaning for Los Angeles than most of the rest of the country. Plus, I'm a Jewish girl and we're always "freezing!" I know what to wear for a New York and even a snowy Wisconsin winter, but dressing for an L.A. one still seems the most challenging since it's this weird in-between season situation. But after many years, I think I've figured out how to do it without compromising style and taste. Let us submit to you the essentials to staying seasonably stylish for this L.A. winter.
