Last night, the city was a buzz with parties (St.Jude’s Gala, Cartier 100th, movie premieres and more), and eye candy galore. However, the party of the week belongs to the Griffin opening night. Kate Hudson and Sting were just some of the big names to grace the newly opened club which we have had our eyes on all month.

Mike Meyers hosted Only Make Believe’s benefit at The Box. Only Make Believe is a non-profit organization that creates and performs interactive theatre for children in hospitals and care facilities. They believe that freeing a child’s imagination is a valuable part of the healing process. What better place than the box to get in the “freeing of the imagination” spirit?

Last Wednesday I had the pleasure of attending the Shop for a Cause event hosted by the Plaza Retail Collection benefiting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. Along with some very lucky guests, I got to preview the new shopping center in the revamped Plaza Hotel. I was very excited, to say the least. First off, what girl would pass up a shopping event? On top of which, this Eloise-loving girl was pretty excited to have a reason to go to the Plaza, not that I don’t love the Rose Club. Fashionistas and philanthropists alike arrived to commemorate the new complex.
