Magazine partied at the Electric Room with Helena Christensen, Nur Khan, and Scott Lipps, Nuno and Muriel Brandolini host an “informal dinner” for Emanuele Della Valle and Lifestyle Mirror, Marc Jacobs threw an after show bash, Phillip Lim got rowdy at Red Egg with DJ Mia Moretti and Theophilus London, Chris Benz hung out at the The Standard East Village, and more. Conversations will soon turn on to the U.S. Open. The arrival of tennis stars has been more of a bang than a whimper in New York. Serena Williams glowed at the unveiling event for her wax figure at Madame Tussauds on August 27, 2009. Later that day she and Roger Federer attended the 2009 US Open Draw Presentation at the New York Times Center. So we got home last night after a long and hectic day and saw one of those fed-ex tags hanging from our door. We live in a small doorman-less building so is always a pain to get deliveries, which is why we don't get fresh direct! We weren't expecting anything so we were doubly annoyed about having to go to the fedex office to retrieve the package. Our annoyance turned to excitement when we saw the return address of Flushing Meadows.

Our US Open pack has arrived. We go ever year and once you order a plan, they send you the same one ever year until you tell them to stop. Also the longer you have the subscription, the better your seats get.
