Given the darkness and violence of the subject material, it's understandable that The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo wasn't going to be marketed on Burger King cups or NFL pregame shows. So when the suits at MGM told Trent Reznor, who composed the soundtrack, to come up with a creative way to market the movie, he had only one criteria: it had to be "something other than some bullshit party at the Chateau Marmont with a bunch of bullshit people." I think teaming up with HARD to bring Deadmau5 and James Murphy to the Palladium, for free, qualifies. More»
