While we were chatting with society photog Patrick McMullan, he made the bold statement that the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel was the biggest opening since Studio 54. In the latest GofG and Cosmo video, Rachelle heads to both the recently cool-again Tribeca Grand and The (apparently back from the brink) Griffin in order to get her hand on some legit party crashers. She also manages to catch the legitimately invited Russell Simmons, and Janice Dickinson who was just a little tipsy. Check it out!

Wtf has gone wrong with our country?!  First there was the attack of the female socialites, the heiresses who do nothing, the ones who are famous for being famous, yada yada yada.  And then VH1 appeared with some pretty grotesque programing including Janice Dickinson and My Sweet 16. 

But all this really couldn’t prepare us for a new emerging trend: The male socialite.  Yes, it has come to this, and one of the leading ones is a boy man named Kristian Laliberte.  A stylist and fashion publicist who counts Olivia Palmolive Palermo as one of his closest friends, he was aparently educated at Milton Academy and King’s College (Columbia University).  But his “social” credentials aside from that are suspect much like his socialtard friend Mrs. Palermo.
