With the summer sun slowly sizzling around the corner, Jennifer Creel debuts her exclusive collection of sassy sunglasses entitled Modo for Jennifer Creel at the fabulous Fifth Avenue mecca, Bergdorf Goodman. Perfectly perched behind the glorious glass counter, Creel was beaming almost as brightly as some of the super cute shades (moderately priced at a cool $285-$365) when attendees delicately tried on her collection and sipped on savory cocktails topped with a glass (or two..or three) of champagne. The funky wood packaging as well as the to-die-for bamboo frames are recyclable materials, and for each pair sold, a corresponding tree will be planted in partnership with the non-profit organization, Trees for the Future (a charity which focuses on degraded lands and communities in developing countries). Jennifer Creel Sunglasses: the superstylish solution to saving the world. Cheers!
[Amy Erbesfeld, Heather Vandenberghe, Meg Sharp. Guests chatted and sipped on champagne or summer cocktails as DJs Jus Ske and Sinatra played. Friends of L.V. in attendance included Derek Blasberg, Jason Binn, David Chines, Douglas Marshall, Helen Lee Schifter, Jennifer Creel, Daniel Lalonde, andRenata Merriam, to name just a few. More »

A plethora of fashionable New York ladies (and a few men thrown in) came out last night for the TRE Launch Party at Scoop Uptown (versus Scoop in the Meatpacking, for those of you not in the know). They got the opportunity to try out the the new TRE line, gab with old friends, and preen for photo-ops among the store’s latest stock. And while not everyone was there to purchase from the new TRE goods (afterall, it is a recession), no one’s going to turn down a party- or a free cocktail. More »
[Michael Gould, Brooke Neidich, Dr. Harold Koplewicz. All photos by CLINT SPAULDING for PMc] We would (arguably) say that this beautiful weather we are experiencing is enough to put most of us in saner, happier mental state of mind. The NYU Child Study Center is all for researching these ’states of mind,’ and yesterday they held a fashion benefit/luncheon at Bloomingdale’s to support new research on child/adolescent mental health. Last night, Carrie Cloud and Annabel Vartanian celebrated their birthdays together at the newly opened Nolita joint, Delicatessen. It was quite the successful turnout, because drinking champagne downtown is obviously more fun than watching the debates! Chance Yeh was there to capture the fun along with guests like Coleman Chamberlain, Kristian Laliberte, Nishan Vartanian, Jennifer Creel, Lara Meiland Shaw, Jen Cohen, Nick Dietz, Susan Shin, Trey Knight, David Chines, and Timo Weiland (in an adorable yellow Timo! tie).
Life’s not always fair: Some people are good looking, popular AND talented. I consider contemporary artist David Foote to be one of those people. Strikingly handsome, amazingly talented and all of society’s most fun ones hang all over him (that’s if they are not already one of his muses for his works – New Girls!). Last night I found myself at the ultra-luxe 20 Pine residence downtown to view David Foote: (in) Res-i-dence collection in the Penthouse @ 20 Pine (presented by WHITEWALL Magazine, The Essence by Porsche Design and KWIAT). His art adorned the walls of the stylish penthouse as mobs of the typical PMc shutterlets crammed in to see it all.
Jennifer Creel used to walk the runway back in the day, and she hasn’t forgotten her moves. Today, she demonstrates for Plum TV with a step-by-step guide.
