For the past week, we've been running around the streets of Chelsea, the Lower East Side, and Randall's Island, consuming every semblance of a brushstroke we could get a glimpse of. New York Art Week is one of the busiest weeks for anyone remotely involved in culture, and this year was no different. Last night, Lapo Elkann, Livia Firth, and Franca Sozzani kicked off the 69th Venice International film festival aboard the M/S Dionea yacht. Anchored across from the Piazza San Marco in Venice, guests gathered on Elkann's yacht wearing eco-friendly attire (which included leaving their shoes behind before boarding). As the evening came to an end, guests hopped off the yacht and made their way to Amy Sacco's Bungalow 8 club located in Palazzina Grassi for a pre-opening dance party. More»

Last night, Salvatore Ferragamo presented their 2013 Women's Resort Collection at the Louvre in Paris. Curated by Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti, this was the first fashion show to ever take place at the infamous museum. In addition to the show, guests were treated to a private showing of the museum's exhibit “Saint Anne, Leonardo da Vinci’s Ultimate Masterpiece,” which was sponsored by Ferragamo.
