DJ Nick Cohen Livens Up Halloween At The Hudson Hotel

The Hudson Hotel hosted its Halloween in Wonderland party on Friday night with SKY Group and Lucid Absinthe. Guests including Alexia Aidan, Sam Haber, David Chines, Kerry Cassidy, Alan Philips, and Sheehan Raab enjoyed Lucid Absinthe and Red Bull cocktails as well as Leblon Caipirinhas, while they rocked out to DJ Nick Cohen, who spun throughout the night dressed in a lame gold outfit. Also on hand was DJ Cohen’s ex and fashionista Alexandra Richards, who took over on the turntables while sporting a nostalgic Garth costume. Wayne was nowhere to be seen, but he was unnecessary… She can pull off anything! There was even a performance by burlesque star Madame Rosebud; although, it was hard to tell she wasn’t in costume!

Royal Crowd For Royal Chie At Geisha

Tuesday night I hit up Geisha (one of my favorite UES spots) for Royal Chie who celebrating their new Eco-Friendly Collection. The hosting committe consisted of Martin Dawson, Maggie Rizer, Elizabeth Saint-Amand, Gillian Hearst Simonds, Tinsley Mortimer, and Liz Walker. We were greeted by the hilarious artist-of-the-moment David Foote, once upstairs, we had to pleasure of bumping into Patrick McMullan, Richie Rich, Devorah Rose, Tia Walker, Gillian Hearst-Simonds, and Kristian Laliberte.

Reebok Is Having A Party And Nike’s Not Invited

Reebok threw a party Tuesday night for the first look preview of their Spring/Summer ‘09 collection at XChange in New York City. As of late, Nike has been getting all the love from sneaker fanatics so it’s nice to see Reebok reviving their brand. The collection includes loads of color and designs of every kind that will send your Nike Dunks back into the closet. Guests showed up early to customize their own pair of kicks then got to partying while downtown-it-girl (for lack of a better term), Harley Viera-Newton, worked the turn tables.

Her birthday may have been in August (25th to be exact), but tonight Kerry Cassidy has a lot of celebrating to do. Not only is she the new editor at large of 070 Magazine (um??!), but she gets to share her birthday with Rebecca Taylor at a combined bash at Marquee!! Kerry Cassidy looks good in the spotlight. She has an unending amount of energy, a Rolodex of contacts, and a closet full of the latest designer frocks. Tonight, we look forward to toasting Kerry on her other latest venture, a spot on Devorah Rose’s reality show “Social Heights“. Cheers!

The Americans Take The Stage At 100 Lafayette

It was in a seedy-ish strip on the border of Chinatown with no other clubs in sight. And, it was THE place to be (well the OTHER place to be).
The “doorgirl” was a little hipster who looked like she was about 16 and was having a lot of fun with her newfound clipboard power. There was a long line outside that must have been an hour wait, and
everyone was smoking and checking out each other’s ’80s-throwback outfits.
