As long as the era of the superstar electronic dance music DJ remains in full swing, so too will the debate over what, exactly, these guys do during a live show. While we'd never question the talent involved in producing a hit single, even Deadmau5 has admitted recently that most big-name EDM DJ's just "press play" and then spend a whole live show fiddling with their laptops. But don't fear, there's still one DJ out there who will make sure you're getting your money's worth. His name is Steve Aoki, and he played Surrender in Vegas this weekend. Let's see what he does different than most DJs. More»
No one knew what to expect when it was announced that The Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas was going to take over at the Sloppy Tuna for a night. Although there were no strippers or slot machines involved, the night definitely lived up to the few expectations anyone had. The line to get in was long, but partiers were happy and did a great job of staying very well hydrated all night long.

What could be better than watching a movie starring Hugh Jackman? How about watching a movie with Hugh Jackman. Or, even more enticing, how about spending a whole day watching a series of short movies with Hugh Jackman... for free? More»

There are so many different kinds of parties in this world of ours: you've got pizza parties, club parties, day parties, BBQ parties, lemon parties (if you don't know, don't ask), and so on. But now that summer is officially here, there's one kind of party that towers above all others: the pool party. And while I shouldn't necessarily have to convince you of that, here are 9 foolproof arguments, complete with photos, from this weekend's 3-day blowout party at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas featuring Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and more. Wow, so it's been a while since we all had an awards show, right? That's just about the only explanation I can muster for the general positivity surrounding the Billboard Music Awards, which folks were pretty jazzed on last night despite the mediocre lineup, meandering pace, and schizophrenic attempt to stay positive despite a raft of tributes to recently deceased musical icons. Still, the evening wasn't without its charms, to say nothing of the moments so forehead-smacking tone-deaf that they also warrant acknowledgement. Let's take a good look at both! More»
From pickled prunes to sheep eyeballs, drunks worldwide have concocted some pretty crazy cures for hangovers. America continues this proud tradition with Hangover Heaven, a Las Vegas-based company that promises to cure the negative side effects of too much drinking. In a bus! More»

Let's say you're Robin Thicke, noted Canadian songwriter and musician and improbable frequent Lil' Wayne collaborator. You've recently made some questionable headlines for getting arrested for smoking weed in NYC, which, if you've ever been to NYC, is really, really hard to do. You have two choices: either stop smoking weed (and eff that, am I right?), or go to a place where you'd probably have to ask the Chief of Police to block the wind while you roast a J in order to get arrested. As you can probably guess, Robin chose option B, and spent the weekend in Vegas celebrating the opening of the Lily Bar & Lounge (and playing an impromptu mini-set) inside the Bellagio alongside other notables like Alexandra Richards, Rick Fox, Eliza Dushku, Whitney Port, and more. Vegas clubs are the worst, but they're also the best. What I mean by that is, all the things we purport to hate about L.A. clubs—the overblown production design, the Gestapo door policies, the drink prices that make you think you're being punked—are all even more ridiculous in there. At the same time, Vegas is basically a full-sized Ninja Turtles playset with alcohol, so it's far easier and a lot more fun to embrace the absurdity than to complain about it. With that in mind, here are some amazing Le Panda shots of Diplo burning down the house during his Monday night residency at XS in the Encore hotel with Flaunt Magazine and Black Banditz. More»
