On March 18, the Meatpacking District Improvement Association will host its first annual "Open Market" fundraiser, hosted by co-chairs Diane Von Furstenberg and Andrew Rosen, Founder and CEO of Theory. It's impossible, try as we might, not to view Mike D's amazing Transmission L.A. audio/visual art festival at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA through the prism of last week's tragic loss of Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch.
