At a private residence in Malibu, Lia Sophia, the fashion jewelery company, hosted a clam bake on July 11th. Based on the pictures there appears to be a various celebrity appearances and tons of jewelry at the event, but well not a lot of clams. The Gen Art Film Festival continued with yesterday evening’s screening of Gigantic, starring Paul Dano, Zooey Deschanel, John Goodman and Edward Asner. Movie goers affirmed Variety’s review of the film as “made for the terminally hip,” as Leven Rambin, Kristian Laliberte, Timo Weiland, Jasmin Rosemberg, photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders and David Gruning kept the opening celebration going with an after party at 1 Oak.  More photos below… More»

What’s more classy, glam and always in style than long eyelashes? Latisse is a new eyelash lengthening drug and already has quite the buzz going. In LA, on N. La Cienega Blvd, the red carpet for Latisse’s launch party was filled with fashionable women from both coasts. Our favorite model-turned-DJ, Skye Nellor was present. Last night found us at the H&M and PHILLIPS de PURY & COMPANY Present Royal Gala Auction Premiere which was hosted By Brittany Snow with Music by Paul Sevigny and featured a silent Auction for Mentor Foundation. We were invited by PR Dive extraordinaire Tammy Brook. We made our way inside and the first person we saw was the Queen of Sweden. Who knew Sweden had a queen? We had a little chat with Brittany Snow, saw our favorite Olympic Medalists (Tim and Jason) and met yet another America’s Next Top Model alum, Diane Hernandez. We checked out all the art that we missed the night before and grabbed a catalogue with intentions on attending the auction on Sunday.

The gals over at NonSociety have really been hard at work.  Today is their PUBLIC lip dub at Dylan’s Candy shop uptown. And, as if the announcement on all three of their blogs wasn’t enough, we got at least three emails from outsiders “tipping” us to the event one leading with “Because all we need is Julia and Mary sugared up on Lauren’s candy.” There’s also a facebook invite of course. Also, they are hosting a party this Saturday. What’s great is Mary’s sister Leven Rambin is having her own little party tomorrow night too, an invite only event at the Eldridge (no mass emails and blog posts were produced).  Both invites (with details removed) are above. Look for more behind the scenes pics next week

Last week was a wild one including co-chairing Grassroot Soccer and hosting Sparrow’s birthday party. So we were both a little exhausted as we got on an early morning flight on Sunday for LA on Jetblue. (special thanks to Jerry Morris for the passes!) We arrived around noon in Burbank, so much closer to Hollywood than LAX (who knew)? We headed straight to our favorite place on the planet, In-n-Out Burger, and ate until we were full. We checked into our room at the Roosevelt, and hit the sack. We were invited to Miley’s birthday at Disney World but literally could not move and spent the night in bed.
