[inside Lilypond. Photo by Kirill] via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Summer is far from over, and the kids out east still have several nights ahead of them to party. The Lilyponders kept their cool this weekend by wearing their shades inside. New nightlife trend or douche bag city? You be the judge. Though they couldn't care less. MORE>>
Tonight Edgewood Goodies' Jake Patterson, Don Clothing's PJ Monte, and CreateBuildDestroy's Alex Hollender are throwing a one-night-only art show/hipster rager. The installation features work by a slew of New York's up-and-comers: Tyler Ben-Amotz, Jesse Zorski, Eli Jager, Richie Cox, Milton De La Cruz, Soheyla Ben-Amotz, James Katsipis, and Patterson himself. In addition to crazy art, Max Barbaria and Pico Ben-Amotz will be spinning, and Lieb Cellars is stocking the bar. Stop by 307 Butter lane between 5-10 for a little inspiration/embarrassment when you realize that none of these guys are over 25.

Wanna see what a Hamptons Nightclub Police Raid looks like? We told you about the pow-pow romping around through Lily Pond this weekend, but now we have these exclusive photos of the "bust":
During their several hour inspection, the officers issued many a parking ticket, confiscated countless cigarettes, and refused to lick P.Hil’s red patent-leather pumps. [GofG]

With all the Pink Elephant/Lilypond action, we have been neglecting the shenanigans going on over at La Playa. And there have been quite a few to say the least. There isn't a single person in this crowd that isn't happy with their Saturday night venue decision. The youth is wasted on the young.

Meanwhile in Springs... This weekend is the 41st annual Artists of the Springs Invitational Exhibition at Ashawagh Hall. 140 local artists, including big names like Eric Ernst, Ralph Carpentier, Lew Zacks, Stephanie Brody Lederman, James DeMartis, John Capello, Gerry Giliberti, and Monica Banks, are each contributing one piece, which will make for a varied, and very personal show.
You can meet the artists at tonight's opening reception, which goes from 4-7. The exhibition itself lasts through August 17th, but it's recommended you come early on, as the art tends to sell quickly. Good luck and happy huntings!

Raise your glasses in the air for a tonned tanned body. Theme of the night at Lilypond last weekend. This crew actually looks surprisingly more fun than others we have profiled on here from out east. I bet they were some of the "ones" that didn't have to wait outside in line (see below):

After the more subdued Blackbook party wrapped up, Lilypond in East Hampton continued on into the night on Saturday with it's usual debauchery. I actually had to drive past the place on my way home this night and, had I only known what was ensuing out back I may have....nah, I don't think I am prepared to handle it quite yet. These guys however? They came with their A-games and were more than prepared to be the special recipients of sparkle in a bottle.

On a railing at La Playa with 3 blonds...you can't put a price tag on that people. Yep, this guy is living the dream and loving every second of it, completely satisfied with his venue choice as there was not only dancing on banquets, but a bachelorette party, AND girls making out all in the same night! Definitely money well spent.
If ArtHamptons didn't quench your world-renowned artwork lust, the G.R. N'Namdi Gallery is hosting a series of exhibitions, the Hamptons Summer Art Series, at the Walk Tall Gallery, proceeds of which will benefit Hoops 4 Hope, Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York, Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation, and The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families.
The first of four exhibitions features the large-scale abstract impressionism of Ed Clark, whose work can be found in museums worldwide and who is credited with being the first artist to use a shaped canvas. Tomorrow there will be a cocktail reception at the gallery from 5-9 benefiting Russell Simmon's Rush Philanthropic, which exposes underprivileged urban youth to the arts and aids struggling artists of color.
