The French fashion house, Chanel, has taken their popular little black jacket, originally launched in 1954, and created an exhibit featuring 113 black & white photographs of celebrities adapting the unisex jacket into their own style. The one-week exhibit kicked off last night in SoHo at 18 Wooster Street with an exclusive party.
Lagerfeld collaborated with French Vogue editor, Carine Roitfeld, to create the $98 coffee table book which will be compiled of the photos from the exhibit, and titled The Little Black Jacket: Chanel's Classic Revisited. The book will be available for purchase on August 15.
