It was a night of colors, people, good food and good smells when Vanity Fair’s SunHee Grinnell celebrated Marc Jacob’s new fragrance, “Lola”. The scent, described by BellaSugar.com as the cooler older sister to the fragrance “Daisy” released two years ago, made quite a pleasant splash amongst party goers. Celebrators included Marc Jacobs, SunHee Grenill, Lorenzo Martone, Lori Singer, Fabrizio Brienza, and Ted Gibson. More»
Our favorite LOLA kids have been super busy this year, and to help celebrate their successes, we are giving away one free limited edition LOLA “Mom” Tee. Inspired by a stick-and-poke tattoo from artist Nick Cohen and drawn by our favorite downtowner, Emmett Shine, this shirt is sure to get your friends talking. Made from 30% Peruvian Pima Cotton/70% Viscose Cotton, the shirt was hand screened in Peru and is one of the softest shirts known to mankind…TRUST ME! If you are interested, email Stanley with “LOLA T” as the subject. We will be drawing one lucky winner later today.

Team LOLA took on Art Basel in Miami last week and, from the looks of their facebook photos, had quite the time. Also, they are into Christmas as much as we are. Today (starting at 5:15) they are having an open house at their offices on 195 Chrystie street. Details:
Come visit the LOLA office, drink free beer and egg nog, see our big Christmas tree, as well as the other artists in the building opening their studios up for just for the night. AFTER PARTY AT CLUB 205 MUSIC BY JONNY FAMOUS
Emmett, James, and the entire LOLA crew were at a RAGING Halloween party this Friday night. But where exactly were they? There seem to be an abundance of cool types here, Jonathan Famous on the DJ booth, at least two bands, and hundreds of “don’t-call-us-hipster” types. Where were they? Browse through our photo clues below and see if you can name place/party. Winner gets first season of “Spain…On The Road Again” on iTunes free!

Cory Kennedy shot some photos for the Spring 2009 look book of Chrissie Miller’s line “Sophomore” at the new LOLA/Gin Lane Media office this week. Also shot were Jen Brill and Donald Cumming from The Virgins, by Cass Bird. Cory Kennedy, the real internet “IT” girl has taken the world by storm, it was only a matter of time until LOLA got their hands on this fresh talent. I myself can not wait to check out LOLA’s new digs.

Lovely Leven may have physically left us for a bit to go do her thing out West, but she would could never forget about us completely. And so, she has provided a little teaser for the lovable LOLA crew:
Sooo, I know most people looking for an up-beat, popalicious, cheesily enjoyable summer anthem have been jamming to:
A.) ”Burnin’ Up”- by the Brothers Jonai. I am personally hating to love this adorable threesome.
B.) The ubiquitous, female empowerment jam by Katy Perry, “I Kissed a Girl” , that gets heads thumping and momentary lesbians excited.
C.) You’ve been unwillingly hypnotized by the raunchy hilarity of Lil’ Waynes latest venture into the Christian-Folk genre, with his catchy song, “Pussy, Money, Weed.”
