Last week, iconic London department store Harrod's held its annual Pet-a-Porter fashion show, where pupps pawed down the runway in looks ranging from fun and festive to Roberto Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood. More»
Stella McCartney hostessed a very rowdy Christmas party on the other side of the pond with guests including her sister Mary and famous fashion waif, Twiggy, filling the designer's Mayfair store. The soiree was lit by the sparkling holiday lights filling the windows and shop exterior, and featured a performance by Brit artist, comedian and actor Noel Fielding. More»
The Cobrasnake is really loving his frequent flyer miles. He bounced around Hong Kong for a bit, snapping great crowd shots. Bustle typifies many cities in Asia, sometimes overwhelming but more energetic, like when you go to a wedding somewhere lame and step off the plane back in New York (home!). It's a good feeling. After this HK stop he had a little UK time, where he went to the Juicy Couture store opening in London, with Leigh Lezark, Derek Blasberg, Alexa Chung, Margherita Missoni and Juicy founder (someone to blame for those unfortunate jumpsuits), Gela Nash-Taylor. Girlcore started when a group of six girls didn't want to be told that the party was over last summer at London's Secret Gardens. Today, the DIY collective that used to be "girls only" is hosting some of the most coveted mashed-up parties in England. Take their last "Glitterball" (above), a posh ending to the London Fashion week. More»

We like to check in with Banksy every so often. We're pretty sure the Brit has an inner New Yorker, which is why he stops into town every now and again. Between the pet shops, Keszler stops in Southampton and Houston Street murals; we're hooked. The timing for one of the artist's reality doses seems especially appropriate, now that we are in a grey zone somewhere between bottle service blow outs and thrift obsession, since supposedly the recession is over. Derek Blasberg, fashion reporter and star magnet, has had quite the busy fall. After taking on the insanity of NY fashion week, where we spotted him at every front row, and every party worth going to, he headed to London to show the Brits how a FW is properly done. There he hobnobbed with loads of British socials, and even had some time for partying-as evidenced at left at a party where he ran into our friend The Cobrasnake. The party is worth taking a gander at, if only to see what happens when you provide communal drinks and long plastic straws for guest. Today, Mr. Blasberg is off to Paris, and off to more fashion shows, parties, and hobnobbing with stars. Keep up with him on twitter HERE. More photos below... More»
Celebrities are running around, doing a mix of both celebrity and normal person things. It's fascinating. In NYC, Brody Jenner made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, while Jon Gosselin shopped with his mother in SoHo and Matthew Broderick walked his son James to school. Also enjoying family time, Hugh Jackman bought pumpkins with his children. In London, Kate Moss and Jamie Hince did some kiddy shopping in Notting Hill and David Hasselhoff stopped into BBC radio. It's another day in the fab life of the celebrity: things to do, places to be. Dita Von Teese and "the girls" promoted the Wonderbra in London, just about the same time Jessica Simpson arrived in the UK with her groupie father. Also landing in Heathrow was Lily Allen, for whom camera-shy was an understatement. More»
After some lovely ladies jumped to the other side of the pond for London Fashion Week, they also found their way to the Burberry show's afterparty at the Horseferry House. Creative Director Christopher Bailey celebrated with brand face Emma Watson, as well as Mario Testino, Harvey Weinstein, Victoria Beckham, Alexa Chung and Agyness Deyn. The last two ladies took a turn at the DJ booth, between band sets by the Kooks. This looks so fun. If our feet didn't still hurt, we might actually feel a little nostalgia for our own tent time. But they do, so we don't. Not yet, anyway. More»
GQ hosted the Men of the Year awards at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden, yesterday. Elvis Costello, Mickey Rourke, Guy Richie and Michael Sheen were among the honorees. In addition to the excitement about who took home the accolade just for being a dude were the whispers surrounding a tiff involving Kate Moss. As we noted in the morning's coverage, the model angrily stormed out of the soiree. Maybe she was sad she wasn't eligible to take home a trophy? More»
Once again The Cobrasnake found himself on safari in London's Catch Bar and once again he brought back photos of some of the city's most progressive "trend-setters" in their native habitat - namely, inebriation. Granted, the majority of the style choices made by this group of Londoners were edgy, innovative and outright gorgeous, but after looking through the photos I realized I have some proverbial bones to pick...
