Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo were just two of the lucky customers that made it out to Bergdorf’s this past Friday to score the “it” shoe of the moment AND meet it’s creator, Manolo Blahnik. The satin blue pumps with the sparkly pilgrim buttons made their first apperance when they were the star of the show in this summer’s “Sex and the City” the movie. Though Carrie states that the shoes were $525, they are actually $945 and can be yours now!

7 Steps For Promoting A New York Movie Premiere

So last night I got to see the craze over the Sex and the City premiere firsthand— not by walking the red carpet like Scott and Naeem, and then going to the premiere, sadly, but talking to the people that came into New York from all over the North American continent for the premiere. With or without tickets. From Phoenix to New Orleans to Montreal, women drove and flew in droves dragging their boyfriends and husbands along for the ride. What it did was give me a lesson in PR.
