Jaime Foxx celebrated his birthday party with his adoring fans at Mansion recently.  The party looks like it was a hit.  I'm not sure the lengths this young woman had to go to score entrance, but having Jamie Foxx pouring alcohol into your mouth on stage is priceless.  Right?  Cindy Guyer presented Foxx with a cake on stage and artists like the Retro Kidz, Tashina Renea, Michelle Jimenez, and Redd came to toast his new album that has already garnered rave reviews.

Dirk Van Stolkholm has left Mansion this weekend. Quit. There are a lot more defections. Issac the bartender is the manager now! HA HA. That place should be closed by…Labor day?

We are waiting for confirmation on this, but Dirk was one of the things holding that place together.  This could mean some troubling waters are up ahead for Mark Baker and the rest of the crew.

Today's "Best $2k I ever spent" comes from the newbie on the block: Mansion. A popular outpost in Miami, when the New York location opened in the old Crobar space, there was room enough for everyone. I was given a private tour of the place by Mark Baker himself months ago, and could not believe how big the place was. There are private rooms galore, enough for hundreds of moments to be captured on film.
