We all know Mario Lopez for his role as the curly-haired mullet wearing jock A.C. Slater on Saved by the Bell. The 90s television star has also been busy as host on MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, and publicly cheating on not one, but two girlfriends (apparently he didn’t learn proper dating etiquette at Bayside High). All hobbies aside, the multi-tasker found time to celebrate his 36th birthday with friends and new girlfriend Courtney Mazza in Atlantic City. The Birthday festivities took place Saturday night over dinner at Izakaya followed by a night of dancing with DJ Samantha Ronson at Club Mur.Mur inside A.C.’s Borgata Casino. More»

When you’re Noah Tepperberg, co-owner and founder of Strategic Group, you get two birthday parties.  And, since his birthday falls in the summer, that meant the first one would be in NYC at Marquee (of course) and the second one would be in the Hamptons at Dune (obviously).  Party he did, and so did his hundreds of friends and wanna-be friends last Thursday at his hot spot Marquee.  I unfortunately missed out on both parties, though I recognize several familiar faces in the crowd, all helping to wish Noah another year full of successes.  Ben Kaufman was there to document the fun.

Last night Tao hosted the Swedish Midsummer’s night dream. The whole restaurant was done up, with rose petals littered across the floor and angelic women dressed in white glidding through the rooms. Most of the modeling world, and some of Hollywood came out to share in the drinking and dining.

Just when I hear the incredible news of Mario Lopez on Broadway, THIS comes my way. Heatherette had to cancel their Fall ‘08 show. apparently things are under control, Richie has some housecleaning to do, etc. Let’s hope this is the case, I can’t bear to go a single Christmas without receiving a holiday greeting from the quirky kids over at Heatherette. Passerby is one thing, but the world would just be a different place should Heatherette not be around to grace us with its wackiness.  Which is why, we must make sure this never happens. Since it’s now going to be at least fall until we see their creations on the runway, we thought we’d share something with you to help tie you over…
