Tuesday night, nightlife impresario Adam Spoont celebrated the big 2-6 with a blow out bash. Friends and major NY hospitality players showed up for the all night party and to dance the night away, starting with a pre-game dinner at Cabanas at the Maritime Hotel hosted by Spoont's best friend and hospitality extraordinaire Michael Gogel. This past Friday marked the first in a series of "Summer Fridays" at the Maritime Cabanas, co-sponsored by Heineken and Thrillist. People lucky enough to get out of work by 5 were able to catch the last rays of sunshine of the day, enjoy beer, and, best of all, SNO-CONES. Jealous? Summer Fridays at the Cabanas will continue until August 28th from 4-8, and while we can't promise there will be Sno-Cones again, sun, beer, and an excuse to start drinking before 5 are guaranteed. [Photos via the Blaqlist] Hanging out at Hiro. Take a look at what a typical Saturday looks like at the Hiro Ballroom, on the side of the Maritime Hotel.  The crowd is a little bit different than the one we saw days earlier at Paper Magazine's Beautiful People Party. Looks like these guys, who are part of the oddly undiversified wait staff, are able to enjoy a nice little break from work with some grey goose. Let us catch our breath before we begin. Ok, ready, here we go.

We began our night with dinner at La Esquina with Matt Levine. Matt is the owner/designer of Steelo Clothing but we weren't there to discuss clothes. He was excited to tell us about his newest venture, The Eldridge. The Eldridge is the name of the new club that is going to be opening within the next couple of weeks. We know you've all heard this before, but we believe this time it's true, the Eldridge is going to be unlike any club in New York City. The Eldridge is going to be more exclusive and luxurious than anything currently out there. It is going to raise the bar on New York nightlife. And that's all we can say...for now.
