Last night, Josh Madden celebrated another year with friends Matt Levine, Erin Lucas, Christian Siriano and Tim Morehouse at the Hotel on Rivington penthouse. The birthday boy enjoyed manning the turntables, taking a break only to blow out the candles on his cake. He looked very much relaxed and at home on the big day, jumping around in flip flops and maybe even doing a fist pump or two. Brother Benji and his wifey Nicole were nowhere to be seen, but we imagine they had preggers/parent-y stuff to do, over on the other coast. More»

• Lucas Glover, a virtual unknown golfer, won the US Open on Monday, beating out Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. Glover will take home $1.35 million thanks to the only birdie of the day. [ESPN]

This week the entire Eldridge family helped Naeem Delbridge celebrate his birthday with a big party-cupcakes and all.  DJ M.O.S. was spinning, and Matt Levine, and the entire crew were all there to toast Naeem (who runs the door there).  Other guests included Kashmir Snowdon-Jones and Robert Fowler. Friday night, Matt Levine took over the penthouse at the Hotel on Rivington for a party dubbed “The Hamptons in the Rivington.” It was a celebration of the anticipation of the Hamptons, Georgica Restaurant & Lounge, which Matt will be helping unveil this weekend. It was also a celebration of the fact that Matt has been given the responsibility of taking over the old Thor space at the hotel. We can’t wait to check it out for our own party with College Humor titled “Yacht Rock” (invite required), and we certainly can’t wait to check in on The Georgica this summer out east.

Last night, The Eldridge played host to a hot party in honor of SVEDKA, the vodka which was recently voted #1 Vodka of 2033. We really have no idea what this means or why this is important, but the one thing we did know is that there was a complimentary SVEDKA bar from 11:00-1:00 am and that DJ Alexandra Richards, DJ Jus Ske, and DJ M.O.S. all took turns on the turn tables. This Tuesday is already turning out to be a great day. Today, we get the exclusive word that Matt Levine, of The Eldridge fame, are taking over the Saracen space in Bridgehampton this summer! The restaurant will be renamed “The Georgica” after the pond that it’s on (which they will be sharing with Ron Perelman), and will feature celebrity chefs from “Hell’s Kitchen.”
