via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: Michael Jackson was a source of inspiration for thousands of musicians and DJ's in the business. Recently, one of our favorite DJ's, DJ Cassidy, launched a new shoe: the Bridgeport boat shoe for Rockport, drawing on inspiration from his two biggest influences, Run DMC and Michael Jackson.

Cassidy considers the greatest outfit of all time to be Michael Jackson’s look in the “Billie Jean” video: Black leather suit, red bow tie, pink shirt, pink socks… Not exactly an obvious translation into a pair of boat shoes, but it works. With soft pink perforated leather, red canvas upper, and black pinstripe, the shoe is signature Cassidy with a twist. Good luck getting your hands on these shoes, which made their debut at Blue and Cream, East Hampton this past weekend, there's only FIFTY pairs! MORE>>>

king-of-pop-pub-crawl-83x125Don't stop til you get enough. Beer and moonwalking combined. We were all waiting for someone to start planning the MJ pub crawl, and it looks like the Village Pourhouse will be one of the first to organize. Playing it safe by waiting until the Saturday after the 4th, you have more than a week to prepare yourselves to "moonwalk your way up 2nd and 3rd Ave of NYC in memory of the legendary Michael Jackson." Beginning at Village Pourhouse, you will be rewarded free white gloves just for showing up. More»
