Lucky Penn Badgley, he gets to celebrate Halloween AND his birthday at the same time! Saturday night, Svedka Vodka presented the second event in their Adult Playground 2033 Series at 1 OAK. Blake Lively was sleek and stunning in her flight attendant costume and Michelle Trachtenberg deserved at least a double take in her elaborate Marie Antoinette ensemble.

Last night, we kicked off fashion week right by stopping by the Prince Peter Collection on the Bowery, where we met with Mick Rock. Next, we headed to Chelsea to check out the newest line from women’s wear designer Keith Lissner. Finally, we went back downtown, to Tribeca to the Steven Alan store where we caught up with Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg.  Next up, Fashion Night Out.

So Diesel’s new men’s fragrance is called “Only The Brave,” and the face of their courageous scent is none other than rapper Common. As part of a publicity campaign, they had Common perform at Capitale last night, offering entrance to industry insiders, to celebrity friends, and to consumers who bought more than $117.50 worth of the perfume at participating Macy’s locations. [Hilary Duff, Penn Badgley]. You might have noticed that we have a Gossip Girl of our own, telling us when Constance Billard’s best are on the streets. Well they’re back at it, filming the next installment following some Gramercy happenings. Hilary Duff is on set again, telling us that she’s more than making a quick appearance on this season. It’s time to place bets: Dan’s love interest? Just friends (when does that ever happen)? A non-romantic character, like a new girl? Transfers are always a mysterious plot twist. Well we’re curious to see, and fortunately the wait is not too long. With the premiere on September 14th (check out the very Hamptons-y poster, below), soon the college bound crew will return to our DVR list. We’ve missed them. More»

Tuesday night, nightlife impresario Adam Spoont celebrated the big 2-6 with a blow out bash. Friends and major NY hospitality players showed up for the all night party and to dance the night away, starting with a pre-game dinner at Cabanas at the Maritime Hotel hosted by Spoont’s best friend and hospitality extraordinaire Michael Gogel. Former child spy Michelle Trachtenberg hosted Guess’s mini-gala in conjunction with Marie Claire magazine — which strikes me a mishmash of “brand” partners, but what the hell do I know about marketing. Anyway. A number of fashionable notables turned up: among them were Victoria’s Secret angel Selita Ebanks and our BFFL/golfette Stephanie Wei. More»
