Additionally, multiple artists from the late 90's created new albums for the first time in over a decade. No Doubt's latest release "Push and Shove" was their first recording in 11 years. It's no surprise that 90's nostalgia provided inspiration for 2012. We've compiled a list of the top 10 albums to sum up our year of partying.

Confession time: everyone who works in our office is older than 17, and it thus follows that we were slightly concerned about Day Two of HARD Summer after a Day One experience that was utterly brilliant. With the Joseph Kony of dubstep, Skrillex, headlining the day, would we find ourselves too old for HARD? Well, we needn't have feared, for as we discovered, HARD maestro Gary Richards has a gift for festival scheduling, the results of which were another perfect day of something for everyone, even jaded old 20-somethings like us. With the crazy amount of parties, concerts and special events going on in town this past weekend, it would have been almost impossible for you not to find yourself in the middle of something exciting. But the hands-down epicenter of excitement in L.A. this weekend was undoubtedly HARD Summer, the 2-day EDM/electronica rave festival held at the L.A. State Historic Park.
