While we were chatting with society photog Patrick McMullan, he made the bold statement that the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel was the biggest opening since Studio 54. All Photos by WILL RAGOZZIAN for PMc] Last night the Baryshnikov Arts Center, a "creative laboratory" founded by dancer extraordinaire and Sex and the City alum Mikhail Baryshnikov (a.k.a Alexander Petrovsky), held its 2009 Spring Gala. Guests including the legendary Lauren Bacall, actress Bebe Neuwirth, dancers Paloma Herrera and Liz Gerring (to name just a few) came out to celebrate the center and its' vibrant community of artists. Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
