We've always had a deep affection for Australia and its many contributions to Western culture. After all, it is the motherland of some of my personal favorite things such as Kylie Minogue, the Australian Open, Ksubi jeans, and koalas. And I'm not sure if it's something in the water there or perhaps a genetic trait linked to its penal colony past, but Australia seems to produce a disproportionate number of very good looking people who also happen to have great style. Celebrities, models and designers turned out in hoards for Vogue Australia's 50th Anniversary Party at Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia.  Guest of Honor Cate Blanchett, who will appear on the cover of Vogue's anniversary edition, looked dashing in a full-length burnt orange Ossie Clark dress.  The red carpet saw the likes of Miranda Otto, Pip Edwards, Vogue Editor Kirsty Clements, Nicole Trufino, Miranda Kerr, Abbey-Lee Kershaw, Heidi Middleton, Marnie Skillings, Sophie Lee, Deborah Hutton, Collette Dinnigan and Gillian Armstrong.

Last week Sacha Baron Cohen (as Bruno) stopped by to promote his newest movie, and today the brand new Louis Vuitton store opened its doors in Bondi. Flanked by LV employees and models, Australian actress Miranda Otto cut the brown ribbon, officially opening the luxury store. Aussie socialites, fashionistas, and television personalities, including Pip Edwards, Erin McNaught, and Kerri Anne Kennerly were also on hand. More»
