Last night, the place to be was the Versace sponsored Whitney Studio Party (stay tuned for full coverage, later this afternoon!), hosted by the Arts Council, chaired by Penelope Cruz and organized by committee members including our own Rachelle Hruska. Clad in and accompanied by Keith Lissner, she welcomed patron partiers  Lindsay Lohan and Donatella Versace (above); just a few of those who turned out in art chic for honoree Leonard Lauder. Fans of What Goes Around Comes Around, the vintage inspired clothing brand, got together last night to preview its latest bohemian chic collection. Hosted by TV personality Robert Verdi, model Irina Lazareanu, and it-girl Becka Diamond, guests browsed through 70s influenced pieces for men and women at the Soho store, while enjoying drinks, a DJ, and a band. Set your DVR to tape tomorrow’s debut, starring Mischa Barton and Elle Macpherson in a show presented by Ashton Kutcher. Ashton’s better half joined the fete to support her hubby, and is probably just as eager as we are to see a story about the fashion business eating up and spitting out two young models. More»

Getting your sh-t together for Fashion Week seems like an impossible task if you’re a designer, so we are giving Alexander Wang an A+ not only for turning out some amazing pieces, but also putting on what might be the best afterparty, yet. At a Mobil gas station on 15th and 10th, it went beyond recession chic to really bring back that all-too-rare totally downtown cool. Mischa Barton, Kirsten Dunst, Jared Leto, Devon Aoki, Erin Wasson, and Zev Norotsky joined the designer to watch performances by Courtney Love and Santogold. Kristian Laliberte chugged Veuve from the bottle (hopefully his own), and there were burgers and fries to round out the ghetto glam. More»

Mingling with celebrities is totally the best part of Fashion Week, right? GofG correspondent Evan Mulhill was enjoying Fashion’s Night Out in the West Village when he spotted Mischa Barton, enjoying a cigarette break outside of the Tom Binns Store. He waited until she was finished pouring herself some Bud Lite into a plastic cup in the back of the store (so much for rehab?) and then went in for the interview. Last night GQ and Dior Homme hosted dinner guests including Mischa Barton, Rachel Bilson, Hayden Christiansen, Chace Crawford, Josh Hartnett, Taylor Momsen, Miranda Kerr and Byrdie Bell; gathered at the Cooper Square Hotel penthouse to honor Dior Homme Artistic Director Kris Van Assche, making his first official press appearance in the United States. The dinner was picturesque, to say the very least.

Last night, Charlotte Ronson launched her “I Heart Ronson” for JC Penny line at Chelsea’s Pier 60. Although Adrien Field wasn’t able to get coverage of this event, the likes of Mischa Barton, HIlary Duff, Olivia Thirlby, Sean Lennon to Jules Kirby and Ali Wise were all able to by pass the scrutiny of Seventh House PR.
