Last night one of our favorite creative duos, AndrewAndrew, joined other stars of the media and art world, including Emily Holt and Julie Bloom, for a special preview of a new photography exhibition at MoMa, Into the Sunset: Photography's Image of the American West.  The exhibition highlights some of the sexiest and most dramatic images of the West from 1850 to the present.  Organized by bright young Eva Respini, it will run from March 29th through June 8th alongside an Andy Warhol film to further explore the myths of the Wild West.

Last night, the MoMa was the site for Starry Night, an event hosted by The Netherlands Government, NYC & Company, and the city of Amsterdam. This began the start the celebration to mark the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's arrival.  He came on a Dutch vessel so it was important to Mayor Bloomberg for the city to recognize its Dutch heritage. Michelle Paterson, Adrian Benepe, Ben Van Berkel, and Annette and Matt Lauer were among the guests.

Rachel Heller at the MOMAAt the moment, the Museum of Modern Art has commissioned five architects to erect their own prefab dwellings in a vacant lot on West 53rd Street, right next to the museum. Last night, they held a cocktail hour and had many guests from all different walks of life arrived to view the exhibit, including photographer  Chance Yeh and designers from all over the world. Other attendees were the young faces of the Upper East Side, as well as the downtown artsy crew.

Actress Rachel Heller was there and said she loves art and has been to almost every exhibit at the MoMA in the past year. More»
