A mix of style bloggers, musicians, young Hollywood, and L.A. trendsetters flocked to Skybar at the Mondrian for the launch of Wildfox's Spring '14 Collection Wednesday night. Known for embracing SoCal's sunny, spunky lifestyle, the L.A.-based brand gave notables such as Paul Oakenfold, Peyton List, Katherine McNamara, Aimee Song, and Shoshana Bush a first look at the latest collection as they sipped on SVEDKA cocktails and enjoyed DJ Caroline D'Amore's party tunes for the poolside soiree. Click through the slideshow for a look inside the Wildfox launch party and a peek at the Spring '14 collection.
[Photos via, via, via, via] 2014 is just days away which means it's time to throw down and give 2013 your best performance yet. While the holiday party circuit was just the warm up, New Year's Eve is the world's excuse to throw the biggest blowouts of the year, bring out our innermost party monster, drink bubbly until we drop, and wake up in a closet the next day with no regrets. So, whether you're into glitter, Gatsby, or Guinness, we've rounded up the best parties in L.A. so you can really make NYE a night to remember (or not), plus some in Vegas for those who want to get really weird.
It's a known fact that even with all the things going on in L.A., the size of the population, and how much time people spend out and about, it's surprisingly hard for singles to meet new people. A version of "I see couples everywhere, where are they meeting?" is something we hear all the time and have even said ourselves. Although we can't say where those couples you see find their mates, we can point you in the directions of places besides da club to meet the singles of Los Angeles. Eligible and unattached Angelenos are out there. Lots of them, and they're probably looking to connect with some new faces too. So, after careful scouting, research and asking around, we've put together this guide to the best spots in L.A. to find them. None of these are groundbreaking revelations, but sometimes a little pep talk refresher and open mind can lift you out of that rut in which you've grown comfortable hiding. Perk up and get ready to mingle with the help of our L.A. Singles' Guide.

Although summer is synonymous with pool season here in Los Angeles, unless you're fortunate enough to have one in your own back yard, it's not always easy to find a swimming pool that will happily host us for an afternoon. Most hotel pools are for guest use only, but we've done the recon and found the best ones that welcome locals for daytime use. Whether you're looking to lounge peacefully in the sun with a book, or splash around with friends over drinks and party tunes, here's a guide to accessing eight of L.A.'s best hotel pools where you don't have to be an overnight guest to take a dip.
