[Photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] The Nomad Two Worlds Exhibit premiered two weeks ago at the Keszler gallery and the artist Russell James has not stopped celebrating since. This weekend he joined Donna Karan and Aboriginal Artist, Clifton Bieundurry at Urban Zen for a discussion about the exhibit but only after enjoying a private dinner in the photographer's honor. Guests including actress Samantha Mathis, model Brooklyn Decker, IMG’s Ivan Bart, ABC’s Madeline Weinrib. stopped by to show support for Russell and his project while checking out the exhibit.

After seeing "My One and Only" last night at the Paris Theatre, I have an entirely new perception of George Hamilton. The movie, a baby of his that took quite a bit of work to get produced (as he told all of us before showing it), was about his cross-country journey in a baby-blue 1953 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with his single mother (played by Renee Zellweger) and gay brother (played by  Mark Rendell). Both Renee Zellweger and Logan Lerman (who played George) gave remarkable performances in the film that was "smart, fun, and affectionate." More»

However, the designer must have felt that the ensemble was more fitting than one of her designs for the event, which took place at Urban Zen in Sag Harbor. We do have to admit, Donna Karan's outfit was very artsy. What else do you call an outfit constructed of a slouchy dress and an artistically draped tie-dyed blanket?... More»

You might think that it was Nicole Trunfio's shoes that had us baffled at the preview party for Nomad Two Worlds at the Keszler Gallery this past weekend (afterall, who wears black booties in August?), but it was really more so her look. You would think the top notch print model (she's been the face for everyone from Karl to D&G) would have her choice of designers, but  we're not quite sure where she was going with the long, flowy dress she wore. We have a few ideas though. We think she choose it because it looked like one of the following: 1. A zebra 2. A kaleidoscope or 3. a shredded film strip. We have to admit though, despite it's crazy pattern and asymmetrical cut, is there really anything the gorgeous Australian model could look bad in?

[Sheri Howell, Summer Strauch, Leilani Bishop, All photos by  JONATHON ZIEGLER for PMc] With the champagne flowing all evening, guests certainly had a great time at the preview party for Nomad Two Worlds, held this past weekend at the Keszler Gallery in Southampton with hosts of the event, Australian natives, Nicole Trunfio and Russell James. This art exhibit was created by the acclaimed art and fashion photographer, Russell James and co-created with Indigenous Australian Artists who were deeply rooted in the Australian Reconciliation Movement. Overall, Nomad Two Worlds was designed to raise awareness and inspire change through a meaningful, artistic effort in order to preserve the culture.
