Carnegie Hall was the ever appropriate site for the New York City Opera's Winter Gala last night. It was, of course, an event where the guests wore formal attire and were served dinner and cocktails. Gala guests were also treated to a performance of Samuel Barber's Antony and Cleopatra, the opera that the company is premiering with Lauren Flanigan and Teddy Tahu Rhodes. All in all, New York City Opera turned out a classic classy New York culture night.
