Could our favorite Saturday Night Live head writer be headed to the morning television circuit?  Rumour has it that Seth Meyers is the frontrunner as Kelly Ripa’s co-host on Live! He’s guest co-hosting the show every day this week, the longest co-hosting gig since Neil Patrick Harris’ one week stint on the show this past winter.  And although former New York Giant Michael Strahan and singer Josh Groban are reportedly being considered for the position, we’re rooting for Meyers.... even if it puts our DVRs at risk of combustion.  Here are five reasons why we would be more than happy with more Meyers! New York City has a habit of making or breaking someone. The riveting nightlife scene is often too much to bear, swallowing up successful people left and right. Athletes on the NYC Scene are often examined under a magnifying glass, and sometimes struggle to deal with the added pressure. In the past she has been seen at shows with Amare Stoudemire, Serena Williams, and Roger Federer. So, in anticipation of Fashion Week, what better way to combine the worlds of sport and fashion than by placing odds on who Anna will pick as her next front row companion? More»

Last night the New York Giants dominated over the New England Patriots for the title of Super Bowl Champions. Some actually took the game seriously, chugging light beers and sporadically screaming at the television, while others (and by others we mean a good majority of those "one day a year" sports fans) were just waiting for the yearly tradition of watching the train wreck of a half time show. Ever since the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" 8 years ago, the NFL has kept a tight lock down on its acts, using headliners for a more PG crowd like Paul McCartneyThe Rolling Stones, and possibly the worst half time show in history, The Black Eyed Peas. But this year was Madonna's year -- a chance to thrust herself back in the spotlight and prove she's got what it takes, even at age 53. From tightrope walkers, to M.I.A.'s unruliness, to Madonna's crotch and beyond, here's what I was really thinking about during the half time show... More»
