On Friday evening, Jodie and John Eastman opened up their home to the NYSCF (New York Stem Cell Foundation) for a cocktail party, discussing all things stem cell with a group of scientists. Attendees included Dr. Jesse Stoff, Helene Burgess, Steve Kroft of "60 Minutes," Katama Eastman, Jay Eastman, Dr. Dieter Egli, and NYSCF's CEO Susan Soloman. [via Hamptons.com]

Guests including Chuck Close and Martha Stewart were on-hand to watch Barry Diller present the Humanitarian Award to architect Frank Gehry.
