Natalie Portman made her highly anticipated appearance at the New York City Ballet's Spring Gala last night, where she supported choreographer boyfriend Benjamin Millepied in the debut of his latest show. Last night, the New York City Ballet held its annual Spring Gala at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater. Luminaries from the ballet, literary, fashion, film, and even sports world attended, including Candace Bushnell, Liz Lange, Edward Norton, Hamish Bowles, Vanessa Williams, and hockey player Sean Avery. D.J. Samantha Ronson tweeted about the event: "..the dancers were all so sweet-wish i could have seen them perform. I miss all the good stuff." You'll just have to go to the ballet next time you're in town, Sam!
Speaking of ballerina bodies...The NYC Ballet season is almost here. This year, The Metropolitan Repertory Ballet Company and the Global Reach International held their first Joint Gala Fundraiser last night at the Liederkranz Mansion. Guests included Amber De Vos, Ward Morehouse, Marge Champion, Donald Sadler, Louis Kerz Hirschfield, Danny Simmons, and more!
