Dossier Magazine, the cultural journal of art, fashion, literature and film, celebrated its 3rd issue on Thursday at 9 pm at the Tribeca Grand with special performances by 2 Mandy DJs and a performance by the Acrylics, while guests enjoyed drinks courtesy of Russian Standard vodka. The issue features a sultry fashion spread starring socialite Stella Schnabel, interviews with both Rachel Maddow and Kim Gordon and even a scandalous photo/fashion spread of Twilight star Robert Pattinson, photographed by Theo Wenner.

ASSME, The American Society of Shitcanned Media Elites, is one of the best, most clever new groups to come out of 2008. Part of their mission is to use "time-tested methods (alcohol, social interaction), we seek to sustain and inspire this beleaguered professional subclass." And on Wednesday night at Ella's they were able to drink (especially some PINK vodka) , dance, interact and celebrate being shitcanned during the holiday season!

Last night saw the final Media Meshing Party, as the NYC media horde gathered for a joyous F-U to the sagging industry outlook. Those with jobs, those aspiring to, and those mourning lost ones packed Sweet & Vicious one last time, and made a drenched night into a celebration.
