NYC Prep’s Camille Hughes celebrated her 18th birthday with a party at Bogardus Mansion in TriBeCa this weekend, making her a prime target for any of-age male looking for fresh meat. During the show she had her eyes set on Harvard hotties, so should she get in and want to get the lay of the land - you heard me - beforehand, there are plenty of Crimson cuties here in the city at which she can throw game! NYC Prep, Episode 7: “Ivy League Of Their Own”
Promptly after watching last night’s episode, I picked up my phone and called my brother at Harvard and told him to head for the hills: If girls like Kelly and Camille are creeping on his campus, he better be on guard at all times. Then I realized even more concerning than these high school girls were the D-bags they were talking to, and their wretched tour guide. Good job, Harvard. Great advertising.
[Carol Han, Kristian Laliberte. Photos by CLINT SPAULDING for PMc] The Ace Hotel hosted an eclectic crowd on Wednesday night as Rag and Bone debuted their Fall 2009 line. The unlikely group included nightlife regular Kristian Laliberte, Jessica Stam, Valentine Uhovski (one half of the now-defunct Socialite Rank), Michelle Trachtenberg, Danny Masterson, and some high school students, who, as we learned from this week’s episode of NYC Prep, are totally into fashion and don’t mind calling you a c*nt if you get in between them and their first-row seats. Which NYC high schooler spelled out, in no uncertain terms, the city’s one and only party rule to her disobedient guest, and in the process give us a shout out? More»
In the competitive world of professional hotness/light socialite work, presentation is everything. The right clothes, makeup, and accessories are often the determining factor in whether your picture ends up in the Style section or on Look At This F*cking Hipster. We here at GofG feel your pain. So, when choosing your piece de resistance seems like an insurmountable task, breathe easy. Let our simple accessories flowchart ease your burden (burdens are bad for the back and often result in costly assistant-hiring). Good luck, and may you keep providing the world with your invaluable services… More»
NYC Prep, Episode 5: “The Overachievers”
Wondering why Ariel Moses’ much awaited Twitterfic Round-up is a day late? No, she wasn’t out partying it up with Kelli and PC again, but it’s because everyone here (and across the country it seems), has caught a bad case of Gohan fever. Yes, that’s right - Jon Gosselin and Michael Lohan’s bromance made me put Ariel’s NYC Prep’s tweets on the backburner for a day, and boy are we feeling the backlash. More»

Ignazio Cipriani, heir to the Cipriani empire, played host alongside Luca Tognozzi and Francesco Civetta at Cipriani Upstairs in celebration of Replay Clothing’s 2010 Spring/Summer Collection. Paper’s Mickey Boardman and Kristian Laliberte stopped by to sip bellinis while newly minted social fixtures Jessie Leavitt and P.C. of Bravo’s NYC Prep were on the scene until well past their curfews. Fashionistas, socials, celebrities, and nightlife staples gathered at the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel last night. The weather was impeccable, and as the Grey Goose flowed, Alan Philips, Josh Shames, and Track Entertainment celebrated the launch of Deluxe Experience (DeluxeXP.com) with Upper Echelon Shoes.
NYC Prep, Episode 3: “What Happens In Mexico…”
It’s that time again folks! No, it’s not just hump day, but it’s time for Ariel Moses’ Twitterific Breakdown of our favorite guilty pleasure, NYC Prep. Even though born and bred Upper East Sider Ariel Moses swore she would never watch the inane Bravo show NYC Prep, I somehow talked the Horace Mann and Columbia educated New Yorker into submitting herself to the incessant nonsense that is the Gossip Girl knock-off… 3 times now!
