Saturday night, the 3rd Annual Asperger's Benefit was held at The Chelsea Art Museum. The event was run by The Asperger's Awareness Council in order to raise awareness for Asperger’s Syndrome, a high-functioning form of Autism, and to raise funding for the NYU Child Study Center and the services it provides to young adults with the disorder. The NYU Child Study Center is all for researching these 'states of mind,' and yesterday they held a fashion benefit/luncheon at Bloomingdale's to support new research on child/adolescent mental health.
