Last night, Cocktails That Care, co-founded by Bridget O'Brien, from Bridget O'Brien PR and Events, and
Tiffany Troiano, an NYC fashionista, hosted a fundraiser at Libation for a new Off-Broadway show called Dog Park, written and directed by Maura Kelley, and for a charity called Bideawee, an organization dedicated to helping build strong, lasting relationships between animals and caregivers. More»

The 25th annual Lucille Lortel Awards honored Off-Broadway excellence at Terminal 5 this weekend. Many familiar faces showed up to mark the occasion: Bebe Neuwirth, Kerry Washington, Keith Carradine, Hugh Dancy, Sherie Rene Scott, Michael Urie (who took home Outstanding Lead Actor for his turn in The Temperamentals), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (that's Mitchell on Modern Family, guys), and many more. Hollywood superstars often hope to bolster their credibility with dramatic thee-ate-er turns on Broadway. This fall, the Great White Way has glowed exceptionally bright with the megawatt smiles of Jude Law ("Hamlet"), Sienna Miller, Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig ("A Steady Rain"). Last night Lynn Nottage took home yet another honor for her acclaimed "Ruined", at the 2009 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. Other winners included Saidah Arrika Ekulona for Outstanding Lead Actress (Ruined, again), David Cromer for his incredible production of Our Town (which also very deservedly won Outstanding Revival), and Fela!
