Last night, Paper Magazine’s 25th Anniversary at the New York Public Library set the bar incredibly high for all ensuing parties this week. Everyone was there. No, really: EVERYONE. Was there. Haute jeweler Bvlgari celebrated its 125th anniversary in Rome, yesterday. Chloe Sevigny, Jessica Alba, Margherita Missoni, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Lewis, Selma Blair, Fern Mallis, the Bvlgari Family and Patricia Field strolled along the Palazzo delle Esposizioni to the Castel Sant’Angelo, backdrops as stunning as the jewelry for which Bvlgari is known and to which it can attribute its longevity. A dinner opened “Between History and Eternity,” a retrospective on the great founding family and the history they share with the magical, emblematic city. Not only did Bvlgari put on a breathtakingly picturesque affair, but the company is also using its staying power to give back.

April ended in style at a celebrity mixer last night for internationally renowned choreographer and artistic director, Jermaine Brown.  Editors and insiders from industries ranging from fashion to film gathered at the L Gallery Studio to enjoy cocktails and music at the event which also featured Patricia Field as the guest host.  A surprise performance from Brown, whose work has been used by Victoria Secret, Louis Vuitton and Leona Lewis to name just a few, delighted guests and amped up the party as well.  More photos from the mixer below… More»

Rather than suffer through a slow economy, retailer H&M seized the opportunity last night to go all out and throw a spectacle to honor the launch of the amazing Matthew Williamson-designed collection for them. After arriving and walking down a glittered carpet flanked with gorgeous models dressed as sailors saluting you, all were escorted aboard a luxury yacht docked at the South Street Seaport. The interior was decked out to a theme that can only be regarded as “a shimmering Copacabana on The Loveboat”, and that’s an understatement.
