Disgraced ex-governor Eliot Spitzer will co-host a CNN talk show this Fall. The program proves that no slimeball can be judged in the court of public opinion until he's inexplicably wrestled his way into Americans' living rooms via the boob tube. More»

Peter Cook isn't about to let his ex-wife have all the fun out east this summer. So, when the Jonas Brothers come to town, he realizes the importance of hitting up that train to secure his "cool dad" status. This meant that both of the socials were present. No word on whether they spoke, but Christie looked like a rockstar in her purple sneakers.
I never thought I'd be saying this, but I'm getting a bit sick of Rosé. (*Gasp!) It must be that corn-fed Midwesterner in me that starts screaming for my summers back at home. Lakes, grill outs, and....BEER. I've never claimed to be a culinary expert, or any kind of wine connoisseur, but; living in NYC I have been exposed to a much more, how do I put this..."sophisticated" food and drink choices than I had available in Nebraska. However, as much as I'd like to hate to admit this, sometimes I just want an ice cold beer. And a hotdog. And Cool Ranch Doritos. And maybe some baked beans and corn on the cob on the side. Ah the finer things in life.
How exciting to find out that not everyone on the east end is a wine snob. This weekend, over at Martha Clara's Vineyards, they are mixing things up and hosting the Craft Beer Festival.
Go HERE for all the info, including tickets, directions, parking, food, etc. And meet us there this Saturday as I attempt to show all these refined Easterners how beer drinking is really done.
